Caring For Women Through All Stages of Life
Even though our practice at Columbia Shores Regenerative Health no longer provides Obstetrical services for expectant and new moms, I am excited about the opportunity to expand our gynecologic care for women and all the stages of their lives. Below are some of the services we are excited to offer.
Annual Exams
We continue to offer routine annual exams for women, which includes routine pap smears and screening exams. My training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a world leading cancer center in New York, set the basis of my understanding and skills to optimize your health maintenance.
Menstrual Problems
From the initial evaluation, to surgical treatment of menstrual problems we are here to help you regain control of your life. From complete office evaluation of labs, ultrasound and office exams to the full gamut of treatment options, including but not limited to hormonal and non-hormonal medications, to in-office surgical procedures such as endometrial ablation all the way to hospital based hysterectomies. We pride ourselves on tailoring our care to your needs, instead of tailoring you to our limited options of treatment.
Hormones and Menopause
Hormones have a significant impact on a woman’s health, and every woman is unique in how they affect her. One of the things I enjoy most is doing everything I can to understand what is going on in a woman’s life that may be affected by hormones and what may be affecting her hormones. Hormonal health is not simply prescribing hormones, but more importantly working with a woman and how her hormones affect her life and how her life affects her hormones. Hormones we work with frequently are Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone. We treat hormonal conditions, such as PCOS and Menopause.
Sexual Health
Sexual Health is not just about sex, but about your health. Your overall health has a big impact on your sex life and vice versa. A few of the things we address are decreased sex drive, sexual problems related to menopause, breast cancer and pain during intercourse. Frustrations of being limited to helping women with sexual health issues drove me to completing a sexual health fellowship. Being the only fellowship trained practitioner in the Tri-Cities gives me the tools to address all types of sexual health issues.
Cosmetic Gynecology
We offer Vaginal Surgery to address concerns of personal vulvar (female genital) anatomy. Surgeries for Labiaplasty (reducing the labia), vaginoplasty (tightening the vaginal canal), vestibulectomy (removing the vestibule to reduce painful intercourse), MonaLisa vaginal rejuvenation, and clitoral/G-spot PRP can be done in office, surgery center or hospital. These procedures decrease vaginal pain, pain during intercourse and can improve sensation, orgasm and satisfaction.
By not continuing to deliver babies is a bittersweet change for me. Sad because I loved the relationships with patients and bringing their kids into the world, but exciting because it opens the door to me being able to offer you a full complement of women’s health services not available in Southeast Washington.
