Spotlight: Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive treatment that pairs Microneedling and Radio Frequency, also known as RF, for collagen induction therapy. Essentially, the micro-needles are used to send the RF waves further into the skin. As a result, the small βwoundsβ created in the skin encourage the skin to heal itself, which results in increased collagen and elastin production. Benefits include the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, texture, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation and acne scarring, and even some fat reduction (realself.com).

Pigment Parallels- Deeper Than You Think
Pigment is caused by cell Melanocytes that produces natural uneven tone in the skin. That production causes the skin to show Melanin. Melanin levels are also what cause eye color, and hair color. For instance, when you get laser hair removal, the light on the laser captures melanin in the follicle. Therefore killing the darkness in the hair root and causing it to fall out. There can be a cause of why melanin may be showing up on the skin, and it has to do with a variety of factors.
